10 Dollars!??!

The other day, Cooper was "using" my cell phone. I needed to make a call, and this is the conversation between us:

[imagine Daddy trying, but not very well, to smother his laugh while this is going on]

Mommy: Cooper, can I please have my phone to call Grandma?

Cooper: 10 Dollars Mommy!!

Mommy: $10? But its my phone!

Cooper: 10 Dollars please mommy.

then he walks away.

Daddy was laughing uncontrollably at this point, as I sit there, stunned. Daddy has been telling Coop that everything is $10, whether it be a glass of milk, dinner, or a toy, everything is $10. So since Daddy started it, I told him he had to get my phone from the little monster as I use our home phone, thinking he'll be back with my phone in seconds. WRONG! Cooper comes running in holding out a one dollar bill, telling me Daddy paid him $10. That kid has us both wrapped around his little finger.

Good thing Coop doesn't know the difference between a one and a ten yet!!
This pic was taken with Grandpa's phone, Coop and Brock are best of friends!!

(it was too cute a pic to not post!)

Christmas Day

Cooper started off Christmas day at 6:05am. It was still dark out!!!!!!!!!! So we go downstairs to see if Santa came, and cooper was speechless. He didn't say a word, just stared at Lightning McQeen for what felt like HOURS! When we asked him what Santa brought, he kept saying "my don't know". Almost like his eyes weren't working properly. (I took video of this, but its pretty boring, so i'm not posting that one). This video is of Cooper opening "Mack"

His cousin Brock, got one of these from their neighbors, and Cooper just had to have one. He kept telling us, "My need Mack, Kay?!?" He LOVES anything and everything to do with Cars (obviously).

This next video is of Cooper "boiling tires" in Lightning McQueen, in the living room no less. This was taken after breakfast, and after the sun came up!! (He really liked that we had a racecar in the living room- now after he's done playing with it outside, he wants to park it back inside. Sorry Coop, not gonna happen).

After breakfast at home, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's, where Santa came AGAIN! Santa brought cooper a little red suede recliner, He LOVES to watch Thomas in it!! Then into the living room to open mass quantities of gifts. We had the boys sit nicely on the couch for one last pic before Chaos errupted. (coop was acting goofy as you can tell)

and an action shot of the little man "Big Grandpa" was attempting to watch TV in the midst of pandamonium. After what seemed like hours, and all the presents were opened (Daddy's truck was jam packed by the way- Myles, Kali, Ashleigh, Jeff, Grandpa, and Grandma spoiled Coop beyond belief) we headed to Harrison High School to kick some field goals... Coop can run like the dickens. The kid has so much energy, i really don't know where he gets it all from!!! Here's a close up of the munchkin...It was nice and warm on Christmas Day, and all the running gave coop nice rosey cheeks!
We finally did get a pic of Cooper in his new racecar, but right now he has more fun hitting the buttons that make him talk. Its only a matter of time before he's driving it all over the place.

We took all of our Christmas lights and stuff down on Saturday I think it was. So now, everytime we leave the house, or get home, Cooper says "Where'd my ights (lights) go!!??"

Goofy boy.

Presents from the Halls & Browns

Sunday Mimi, Pops, Tiff, and Joe called to tell us to open presents from them. Cooper was SUPER excited, he LOVES opening presents. He opened Daddy and Mommys present, and said "oooohhhh woooow, a green box!" it was hilarious! The Halls and the Browns sent AWESOME stuff. This first pic is of Daddy & Coopa putting together a wheelbarrow. He loves putting his toys in there and pushing them around the house.
This picture cracks me up. He's a pretty smart little man to put all the gifts in the wheelbarrow to get them to the living room (our tree is in our foyer).
He got lots of awesome clothes! His favorite were the Lightning 'Queen jammies! He even wore them to bed last night.

This lightning mcqueen car carring case, was his absolute most favorite. After he unwrapped it, we had to take a break with presents, but he just wanted to play. I took video of him playing with the cars that were in it, one being a Mini Cooper. This video is HILARIOUS!

Coopers first Dictionary!!!!!
Uncle Joey got him a fish book!! Cooper LOVES fishing and calls this book HIS fish book.

Thank you Uncle Joey!!

Did you know that santa on a jetski can FLY!?! Cooper says that he does!

I think the most funny gift was the punching bag. Daddy took video (Warning: it is 1 minute long, but will definately make you laugh). Cooper is entertaining himself, but when he has a prop, he's just down right goofy.

Thank you Mimi, Pops, Tiff and Joe for all the fantastic gifts!! We love you and miss you very much!!!!

Bass Pro Shops

Saturday we went to Bass Pro Shops. Cooper didn't want anything to do with Santa, so we walked around and looked at the fish, the shark, the Moose, along with some other animals. We LOVE Bass Pro Shops, I could walk around that store all day. It was super packed saturday (go figure), but we were still able to get some great pics.

Merry Christmoose!!!!!

Cooper was NOT a fan of the shark. We told him over and over that it wasn't real, but I don't think he believed us. There is a whole in the bottom of the sharks mouth so kids can stick their heads up there, yeah, cooper wanted absolutely NO part of that.
It RAINED all day Saturday, and this pic was taken as we were waiting for the husbands to get the cars. Do you like Coops hat? He got his carhart hat that day at Bass Pro, it looks great when he's weating his carhart jacket.

Yer Mom....

This is just too funny not to share! If any of you have been around me in the past few years, you know that I am on a " Yer Mom" kick. Uncle Myles says it a BUNCH, he may have gotten me started on it, and our neighbor Josh says it alot as well. As a matter of fact when the 3 of us are together, its BAD, real bad. Anyways, well cooper has started saying it, only he has added his own twist to it- he says "Yer mom DUUUUUH". Not really sure when the "Duh" came from, but OH MY GOD, it is HILARIOUS! The other day at dinner Daddy said something to which Coop replied with "yer mom, DUUUUH". I think food came out of Daddy's nose, and I bout pissed myself. I have been trying to get him on video saying it, but every time he sees the camera he says, MY NO PICTURE! I am still trying and hoping to get him on video saying it. In the mean time i cannot WAIT till he says it to Uncle Myles and Josh.

Cooper meets Snoopy...

I've been watching Charlie Brown Christmas for as long as I can remember. There are few institutions that remain true to their original form, and fortunatly Christmas Cartoons are one of them. Luckily for us Coop showed some intrest with this beloved intrinsic icon.

Coop n Snoopy 1

He laid with Tonka nearly motionless as Snoopy and Lucy flew the Dog house down the street...

and as the show was comming to an end as usuall.. he said -I seepy- grabed his blanket, his "monster bear", and walked on up to bed...

Grandpa's Graduation

Saturday December 13th, 2008, Grandpa graduated Shorter College with his Bachelors of Science in Management. He even graduated Cum Laude!!!! We are so proud of your grandpa!!!!

We arrived a few minutes late, and were trying to hurry to the gymnasium. Cooper and Brock were holding hands- it was SOOOO cute, but they were extremely slow. My best bud Stick even came to watch Graduation- thanks for coming Stick!
when I tried to carry Cooper to hurry things along, cooper says "I wanna hold Bwocks hand!!!", Ashleigh got the same response from Brocky when she tried to carry him. We even passed Grandpa in line with the other graduates--
The boys sat by eachother during the ceremony, well they sat together for about 5 minutes - they wouldn't stop laughing...

Silly silly boys.

I took video KNOWING that the picture would be crappy quality- I was really after the audio... if you listen you can hear them announce Coleman Myles Foley - Cum Laude!! (then of course all of us screaming!)

Here's a picture of us after Graduation.

I'm not sure if you can tell from the pic, there was a GINORMOUS hill behind us... Brock tackled Cooper and its amazing they didn't end up tumbling down it!!

FYI- It is EXTEMELY hard to get a 4 year old, and two 2 year olds to face the same way for a pic. This was the best I got.

Over all it was a fantastic day! Congrats again Grandpa! We are soooo proud of you!!

Two Peas in a Pod

For those of you that don't know, Tonka, our 1 year old Great Dane, has not been doing very well. He was diagnosed with a bone issue in his shoulder. Tonka has been on some pain meds for the past few days, and just been lounging around the house. Cooper and Tonka are best buds, Tonka still, even in pain, plays with Cooper. Here is a pic I took of the two of them on the couch- they could be twins except for the fact that Tonka outweighs Cooper by about 100 lbs.

This next pic had me cracking up. Tonka had his long leg outstretched, and Cooper had his up in the air as well, but got camera shy, and my camera wasn't quick enough to catch it.
We Tried to get a pic of Cooper next to Tonka, to show how tall Tonka really is, but no such look. Tonka just isn't in the mood to sit... this is how the pic turned out.
What is it with Kids and ginormous stuffed animals??
And last but not least, Cooper has been working on blowing bubbles with his gum. He thinks he is doing an awesome job, and we don't have the heart to tell him otherwise.
I should also state that he was saying "daddy mommy wook at my bubba"!!!! (as he points to it).

On the phone....

So Cooper has been really sick for the past 10 days. He's been feeling so crappy that he hasn't really eaten anything for the past few days. So last night, Cooper and I are driving home to meet Daddy, and Daddy calls asking us what we would like for dinner. While on the cell, i ask Cooper what he would like for dinner. In return, i get no answer. I look back and ask him again, and he's just gazing out his window with the tiniest of smiles on his little face. I continue to ask him, listing off foods at this point, still no response. I even ask him if he's ignoring mommy- still nothing. So I tell daddy that i need to call him back when cooper decides to talk. I hang up, ask cooper again what he wants for dinner- he immediately says "kicken (chicken) and fries". I then ask him why he didn't answer me before - - his response:

"My no talk to Mommy when she on phone".

HEH- guess all our talks with him about talking when someone is on the phone paid off!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Boy was the weather nice for us this Turkey Day. Cooper got to play outside with his cousins, and they all played a bit of Bean Bag Toss. I should add, that those 3 boys are actually pretty darn good!!

Friday, Daddy, Cooper and I put up some Christmas Decorations....

Cooper REALLY likes climping the ladder!!

Then, we had a "visitor" whom Daddy and Cooper have named "Stuart Little". This little field mouse had Coopers full attention. He tried to step on it, (see pic) but then he was fascinated (see other pic). I hope this "Stuart Little" doesn't live somewhere in our house.

Only 24 More days till Christmas!!!!

The Steak House

I COMEPLETELY forgot about these pics on my camera.... but I figure its NEVER too late. On November 15th, Cam took Travis, Cooper and I to "The Steak House". For a while, i thought he was taking us to the middle of no where where he was going to kill us all. We drove for EVER, and even went through a neighborhood to get there (strange). Anyways, we finally get there and "The Steak House" was actually a real place. Here is a pic of Cooper standing in front of the sign. The pic to the left is of Daddy and Coop on the wooden fence. I'm surprised I actually got a shot of Cooper kinda smiling, he was scared shitless that Daddy was going to let go of him.

What a goof.

This huge thick tree that Cooper is leaning against? Well he tried and tried and tried to push it over. These next pics are of Cooper and Cam as we all waited for our table. We waited about an hour I guess, but boy, that seriously was the best steak i've had in a long time!!

Thanks Cam, for taking us to The Steak House!!!!!

Christmas List

The other day in the car we asked Cooper what he wanted for Christmas. This is what he said:

1. Green Thomas ChooChoo Train
2. Pink Thomas ChooChoo Train. (I asked him why he wanted a pink one, and he said it was for Why-ya)
3. Lightning McQueen cars. Wots of them.

Then today, when Grandma asked him what he wanted, all he said was;
"Just chicken from mcdonalds".

Alrighty then, this should be an interesting Christmas!!

Trans Siberian Orchestra

Last night, Myles, Kali, Travis and I headed to Phillips Arena to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. IT WAS AWESOME. They put on an amazing show! It actually has me in the Christmas mood! They banned cameras from the show, but we are sneaky, and brought them in anyways. We got LOTS of cool pics, and even an awesome video.

I should mention something I found out while at this show..... beer REALLY makes me pee often. I must have taken 3 potty breaks during the show!
Anways, back to the show, if you ever have a chance to go see them, do it! The narrator had a really deep deep voice- his voice would make a good alarm clock.

Here is a video we took last, it is a huge file, but if you have a chance and have time, its worth watching!

Lyla and Brocks Baby Dedication

This past Sunday, the whole family got together in support of Brock and Lyla's Baby Dedication to their chuch. We all got dressed up -- The Culps forgot to tell us we could have worn jeans. Sheesh. Cooper did pretty good over all... but it was warm in there, REALLY warm in there, and after an hour and 10 minutes these comments were coming out of his mouth- and NOT very quietly:

"That man talking. (the pastor). My no want that man to talk".

"That man green!!!" (they had green lights shining on one of the guitar players- cooper was amazed that he kept changing colors).

Then we had to excuse ourselves when Cooper says "my want to go pwease". - course he didn't say that one quietly at all. Crazy kid.

After the ceremony, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpas for some yummy grub- as a matter of fact, i'm still full from it all!!

Congrats Culps!!

CMA Awards

Last night, after Coopers bath, we went downstairs to watch TV. Well really, he wanted to watch Thomas, but I wanted to watch the CMA's. Cooper starts to get pissy that I told him he couldn't watch Thomas, until he looked at the TV. Kellie Pickler was on there with a skin tight short black dress. This was our conversation:

Coop "Mommy, who is daaaaat (that)"
Mommy "That is Kellie Pickler"
Coop "Kellie Pick-er? wooooooooooow".

And that was the end of him wanting to watch Thomas.

Then, this morning, there was a commercial about bras. It really was a wierd commercial, and I'm not sure what it was really about. But Coopers eyes got big (as he's staring at a girl with just her bra on), and he asks me "what is daat"? Unfortunately I couldn't think of a good way to explain a bra, so I told him I didn't know. His reponse "I don't know ee-ver". Shew, thank GOD. Although, I think he's found his new favorite commercial.

Little Lumberjack

Mimi and Pops have come to visit us, and we decided it was time to have a bonfire Sunday afternoon. Saturday we all helped with yard work- trimming the rose bushes and trees, so we had lots of stuff to burn, including our pumpkins.

This pic is of our lil monkey, he's always climbing!!

Halloween 2008

On Halloween, EVERYONE came over with their pumpkins to our house. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the pumpkins- I'll take some tonight if they are still in one piece. We also forgot to have people vote, OOPs. Guess that means I am still the champ. Ha!! Anyways, Grandma, Ashleigh, Kali, Brock, Brodey, Lyla, Jeff, Cooper and I all went trick or treating. Here is a pic of some of the group before we started... Cooper was Thomas the Train, Brock was the cutest christmas tree i have ever seen, Lyla was a lady bug, and Brodey was Buzz Lightyear. Cooper had a good ol time knocking on peoples doors. He even said "Fank You" when people gave him candy. At one house, the boys knocked, the door open, and Brock just walked right in. HEHEH It was hilarious- a walking Christmas Tree. I really wanted to take him to Publix to show him off.

Cooper LOVED this Halloween globe thingy, so we decided to take his picture in front of it. He even gave me a nice big smile!! In case you're wondering where his arms are- they are in his candy holder part of his costume... I think he really enjoyed holding his candy.

This pic was taken in our foyer. Cooper wasn't too happy of a camper... mommy and daddy had to go through his candy and remove anything and everything that had to do with peanuts. HEHEH Poor kid ended up with a whole lot of suckers. Did you know that even PLAIN M&M's "May Contain Peanuts". NICE.

Too bad people don't pass out toys. He would LOVE that.

After trick or treating with the kids, getting cooper all washed up and into bed, Travis, I, Myles, Kali and Cam headed to a Halloween Party at some friends house. Pictured here is Bill Clinton (aka Myles). He was starting to freak out Kali and I.... damn mask. Although he did get some comments that he looked like dad. HA!

Last but not least, we have us, Olive Oil and Popeye. Travis made a GREAT Olive. Till he froze his ass off.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2008.
