The MOOOOOOVIES

I COMPLETELY forgot to Blog about Coopers first trip to the movie theater!!! Last weekend (or at least I think it was last weekend), we headed to the movie theater to see Monsters vs. Aliens. We stood in line to get out tickets, cokes, and popcorn ( i swear the popcorn bucket was bigger than the little munchkin), then we headed to get our seats. As soon as we walk in the theater cooper immediately notices the "HUUUUUUGE TV". The movie starts, and I'm thinkin' .... wow, did we drink last night, its almost as if i'm crosseyed trying to watch this movie. Come to find out its 3D, so I head back to the ticket counter, where they had forgotten to give us the 3D glasses, and had them waiting for me. Poor Daddy, can't see 3D, and didn't even bother with the glasses. Here is a pic of Daddy and Cooper wearing them though....

Cooper looks like a white Steve Urkel. HA! Cooper let out a loud random laugh or two in the movie, but nothing else. He didn't even need a potty break! Anyways, the movie was a huge success, and we can't wait to take him to see UP- which comes out this weekend.

8 Years... and counting...

Yesterday, Travis and I celebrated our 8 Year Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe we've been married for 8 years already. It seems like just yesterday he was buying us girls beer in Panama City Beach. By the way, 8 years later, we are STILL laughing about the almost rear end collision Travis almost got into HOURS before the wedding..... (Thanks RNJ for getting that on Video!!)

(WOW, I really was whiter than my dress!!!! That is AMAZING!!)

We celebrated with Dinner at Sapparo... my favorite Japanese Restaurant. Our best friends (Rachelle, Kevin, and Cam) joined us, as well as Grandma. Coop is NOT a fan of the fire show the Chef put on, as he has to sit in Daddy's lap until the main cooking is done.

Happy Anniversary!!

Here's to another great 8 years!!

Rock n Roll Protective Head Gear

Today Grandma was taking Cooper to the park to ride bikes, and decided she's had enough of the crashes. She took him and bought him a Spiderman Helmet. Maybe now he'll have less bumps, scrapes and bruises on his head. Maybe!

Thanks Grandma!!!!

NO MORE TRAINING WHEELS!!!

Our little munchkin is growing up WAY to fast. Not only has he been wearing cute little underwear for months now, but we took his training wheels off his bike. That little guy can pedal that thing like there's no tomorrow!!! Be prepared... i took 3 videos, and yes, I am going to upload all of them!!

The neighbor's 8 year old came down to ride bikes with Cooper. After riding around and around and around, and over curbs, daddy hears this conversation between the two:

Jared: I'm pretty sure you're faster than me, all I do is watch TV

Coop: OK!! [and he speeds off]

Cooper and Daddy race bikes alot - (and yes, that is mommy's bike he's riding, Daddy secretly enjoys riding my pink bike!), here's a pic of the "race". Cooper left Daddy in his dust.

We were talking with friends last night on if it was too early for Coop to be riding without training wheels. Our answer; hell if we know, we threw our parenting rule book out the window long ago. I also fully expect Coop to have a job by the end of the summer.

We really can't beleive how fast he has grown. He seems to be growing taller everyday, and his 3rd birthday is right around the corner. He gives me lots and lots of hugs and kisses, and I hope that that is one thing he will never grow out of.

This last video is my absolute favorite - Cooper LOVES going over "bumps" -- I don't know how he doesn't have a bruised behind, as he rides over his "bumps" for HOURS.

On side note/tangent, our knockout rose bushes are blooming, and they are soooooo pretty. I took this pic of the house - the roses look red in the pic, but they in reality, they are a bright bright pink.

you can almost see Travis' bright green motorcycle on the left of the garage... aint she a beaut!

Race Track

Daddy bought Coop a racetrack while we were in Sylvester. Last night we decided to put it together. What we didn't realize, was the Size! This thing is HUGE!!! Put together its supposed to be 4.5' x 8'. Daddy ended up only putting a little of it together so it'd fit on our dining room table.

(For those of you that are wondering, yes those ARE white pool noodles around the table. Coop kept running into it and knocking himself out, so that was my way of padding it).

The race cars are interesting in that only the Controller Daddy happens to be holding will have less than full throttle... Coops full tilt or nothing! :)

I told cooper to give me a big smile for this picture.... It must have been opposite day. Little goof...

I even jumped in on the racecar action after a while... We'll have to set up the entire track in the basement... it wasn't as much fun watching it go in a small circle...
Last, but not least, we took a "Family Pic" while watching Thomas before bed. Cooper REALLY loves Thomas, and we have to watch him every night. I think he has every single train on that show, and knows each by name. I can't wait till the "thomas" phase is over.

Mothers Day....

This Mothers Day Daddy, Mommy, Cooper, Grandma, Myles and John headed to good ol Sylvester. We had lots of fun, played lots of games, rode bikes a LOT, and enjoyed the HOT weather. We got yummy ribs from Carol's (the butcher shop in town) and this pig was sitting in the parking lot. Nothing like riding a pig!!
Cooper also washed his bike because he got it muddy going through mud puddles.
and of course, a trip to Sylvester is NEVER complete if you don't visit NAPA...

I love how Coop even parked his bike. Right up front and close to the door!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to our Mom's~~ Mimi and Grandma, we love you very much!!!

Ummm.....

I'm really slacking on putting up pics in a timely manner, oops!! Last Cinco De Mayo, we had a few people out to the house, and Kali brought Sombrero's and Moustaches. Well apparenly we have moustaches laying around, and this is how I found Cooper the day before Cinco De Mayo.....

I REALLY wish I coulda talked him into wearing it to our visit with Rachelle & Kevin to La Parilla. That DEFINITELY would have gotten me a free T-Shirt!

Getting ready for T-Ball

T-Ball season is fast approaching!!!! I cannot wait for the fun to begin!
Jeff and Ashleigh bought Cooper a glove.... he absolutely LOVES it. Everyday he wakes up and says, "Shall we go play catch!?" I'm gonna have to go to Grandma and Grandpa's and find the old blue glove so we can both catch like pros. Here is a pic of Cooper and his glove

Grandma bought a T-Ball stand thing, so he's been practicing... here's an action shot...

Man he's got great form! =) Cooper and Daddy had to have a little talk about hitting the ball as opposed to the ball stand.
We aren't really sure which side he'll bat on, he's been practicing both. We've been trying to get him to hit a home run, that'll be the best way to show off his lightning fast running speed. =)
