Rainy Georgia Weekend

This weekend was pretty rainy, however we get some good pics. Saturday Cooper decided he wanted to dress himself, thats why he's wearing a goofy outfit. (He even put a heavy jacket on as well). Coop and Daddy headed out to one of Daddy's jobsites to take some measurements.
After that it was time to head home and get ready for a Cookout at Alan & Vanessas. We did convince him to chance clothes, thank god!! Cooper has been getting bloody noses... a LOT. A WHOLE lot actually. This picture was taken after the 3rd bloody nose of the day... poor buddy.

(His Linus shirt cracks me up! I LOVE it!!! -- thanks Tiffanie!!)

Here are some pics with his awesome shirt outside...

I didn't get any pics from the Cook-Out, but Cooper actually lasted till 10pm! It was great fun, and we look forward to many more in the future!!

OH- and I can't forget about this picture. Mommy bought Cooper some AWESOME Spongebob swim trunks. He REALLY liked how Spongebob was on his butt... so we took this pic and sent it to Tiffanie & Joe, and Mimi & Pops...

Coop and Mommy

This week, Cooper and Mommy got to spend some quality time together, as Daddy was in FL on business for a few days. We had a blast together!! Coop LOVES taking baths in my big bathtub, so we took some pics... Apparently we may get some storms today, so the sky was colorful. Cooper said "OOOOOHHHHH Wook at the Sky mommy, its BOODAFULL!!!" He wanted me to take a picture of it, so we took one while driving... safe i know, but i'm awful good at multi-tasking while driving. ;)
Cooper and Mommy had great fun while daddy was away, but we are looking forward to seeing him tonight!! Our little family just isn't the same when one of us is missing.

The Weekend

This weekend was a pretty laid back one. Grandpa was in town from Sylvester (its been awhile since we've seen him), so we spent the day at their house on Sunday. Unfortunately, Grandpa had to fix the bathroom tub while he was in town. I'm sure his trip to the Acworth home was just what he was expecting~ home repairs!! Brodey, Cooper and Brock enjoyed the show... hopefully they didn't hear TOO many 4 letter words.

If you are wondering why our son is the only child without his shirt on, its because its his new thing. The little munchkin gets hot, quick, so he just likes to go shirtless these days. :) Altho, we were REALLY lucky, and actually had some nice cool weather this weekend, as a matter of fact, we didn't even go swimmin'!!

This weekend we also got to see our good friends, Alex & Stephanie, and their cute lil guy, Logan. Starting this week, Grandma is going to watch Logan a few days a week. Cooper is super excited, and we are really excited about him being able to get to know Logan better. It will be great fun for them both.

nooo Taylor MY balls are bigger...

Monday nights are mommys office bowling nights. We went last week and watched. We had a pretty good time playing in the arcade but this week decided since Jackie and jackies mom and dad (Hein and Taylor) were in town that we would actually bowl.

After a quick lesson from both dad and Jackie I was ready to tackle this beast of a lane.
aagh.. i can go either way... the pins falling down is a good time; the earthquake when my ruthless 6lb ball hammers the wood is nice; but the 20 seconds it takes to get the ball to the pins is rather uneventful.
well i take that back.. the ball puking monster was pretty interesting. as a boy i used to be frightened by monsters in my hamper but mom was nice enough to remove it from the room... i can totaly see how i could be smashed by a bowling ball in my room.... Here i am patiently awaiting the arrival of my 6lb pin hammer... it matches my shirt... not really sure why I stand like Pops but it works for me.. so don't judge me!

Jackie has beautiful hair.. thats pretty much all i have to say about her... i beat her by 20 pins in both games... 39(J) 58(C), and 55(J) to 78(C). She has proven to be a formidible opponent. She had a thing for Celery which i'm not a fan of but whatever blows her dress up... oh man.. look at my form!oh Speaking of dress... how you doooin?

Here i am with Dads buddy Taylor... Both he and Dad got beat by Hein in the first game but Dad rallied back to take the best 2 out of three games. Making sure to get a few pointers from a real Pro Bowler Mom (yeah i call her mom now.. thats how I roll) came over inbetween her games to show me how to lay the smack down on my foe! Shes pretty good!
Well it was 7:30 and bedtime is 8ish so mean 'ol daddy said it was time to pack it up. all in all i had a good time, made some memories and slapped a few asses... maybe i'll do it again next week... or maybe i won't. Here i am leering triumphantly over my recently mastered lane.

"UP"

Yesterday, we took Cooper to see Disney's Pixar Movie ~ "UP".
As soon as "Carl", the old man on the movie, was shown on the screen, Cooper yelled, "That wooks like Big Gwampa!!". I do have to say, Carl really does look like Big Grandpa!!!
The movie was really good, but there were some scary parts in it. A "scary guy" tried to hurt Carl, and Cooper was shaking like a leaf. Excellent movie though, this is one I'd definitely like to buy for our collection.

Trip to the park

We woke up Sunday, to an overcast day. Which was fantastic because that means it wasn't as hot as it normally is!! So we grabbed "Bendy" and headed to the park to feed the ducks. Cooper would rather throw rocks at them, but we talked him into feeding them first. Here's Cooper and Daddy on the trail on the way to the pond. They look like twins!
Coop enjoys feeding the ducks, and tries to hit them with his crackers. Its actually quite entertaining! He yells "HERE DUCKS AND FISH!!"
The Fish realllly love Cheerios. Not sure if you can see them in the picture, but there are a TON of tiny little fish. Too bad we can't drop a pole... Cooper would have a hay day!
After 10 minutes, Cooper decided he wanted to get "cwoser" to the ducks.
I really think it got to the point where the ducks just weren't hungry anymore. LOL, they'd take a cracker from Cooper, and drop it right away. Course, usually when we go there are roughly 10 ducks, and this time there were only 2.
Bentley was feeling left out, so Coop gave him a "treat" as well.
On the way back up the trail, we came across another duck. Cooper tried to feed it, but this one was a meanie. He was so mean, that Coop told Bentley to 'Get Him Bendy!'. Bentley did too, he chased him till the duck flew off. What a good listener Bentley is!
Before we could leave the park, we had to stop at the playground. Even Bentley got in on the fun!

Slip-n-Slide 2009

Saturday afternoon we headed to a friends house, where they were having "Slip-n-Slide 2009". We really thought Cooper was going to enjoy it, however we were wrong. Cooper and Daddy walked up to the top, and watched for a looooong time...
After watching for a good 30-40 minutes, they decided it was time to test it out. You can see them smack dab in the middle (top) of the picture...
Cooper really enjoyed himself on the way down...
however, he was NOT a fan of the big splash at the end.
He was super pissed that water got in his eyes. Needless to say, he did NOT go down the slide again. The first time was also the last time. Better luck next year... hopefully. Lucky for us, Kris' parents have a trampoline, so Cooper spend a LOT of time on it...
Our friend Brittany has a little boy, Bryson, who is about 6 months older than Cooper. They made fast friends, and Cooper thought he was soooo cool because he has Thomas on his swim trunks.
After the crowd thinned a bit, Cooper DID go back to the slip-n-slide, but not to slide, he stuck around in the pool...
After awhile, Daddy got on the trampoline with Cooper. (nice white legs daddy!!)

Silly boys. We spent about 5 hours over there, and Coop was SOOOOO tired when we left. Can't wait till Slip-n-Slide 2010!!

Nail Polish

Last weekend, I took the time to paint my fingernails a bright pink color. BRIGHT pink. (I also did my toes). Anyways, so last night, while cutting Coopers nails, we had this conversation:

Coop: I want my fingernairs pink too!!

Mommy: I can't paint them pink, you're a BOY!!

Coop: But I want them painted wike yours!!

Mommy: How about if we paint them clear!?

Coop: YESSSSS! I want a QUEER COLOR!!!!!!!

Daddy: Uuhhh, NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Coop: But I want dem QUEER!!!

Who would have ever imagined that Coopers pronunciation of words would be SOOOOO damn entertaining to me. I decided I'm DEFINITELY painting them clear SOON. I look forward to him telling our friends and family ALLLLL about his QUEER nails.

HOT, HOT Georgia Summers

Well, its official, I am tired of this hot Georgia weather. It is seriously too hot to do anything outside!! The only think to do, is swim.... so thats exactly what we did. We packed up and headed to Grandma's. Cooper had to play with some trains before we could swim... so while he did that, I snapped some pics...

Coopers idea of "swimming" still only consists of playing on the stairs. He gets SUPER pissed if you take him for a stroll in the pool. NOT a happy camper. We think the reason he's not a fan is because he can't touch the bottom. His feet are getting really close though, so we're hoping he'll get over it soon!

Cooper also likes to water the grass.... he "waters" a different spot every time he's gotta go.

He likes "floating" more on the deck than the pool...

Thank god Gwamma has a pool... otherwise we'd be hermits stuck inside the house, watching movies and playing trains.

The Hall Family is officially ready for Fall!
