Pile of Leaves

Grandma and Grandpa have an over abundance of leaves in their yard from all the trees. Kali, Myles, and I made Cooper a HUGE pile to jump in. The kid even had all of us jumping in as well. He wouldn't just jump in, he had to get a running start.
He was smiling big for pictures, so I just kept snapping.
What a nut ...
After playing in the leaves, it was time for chalk outlines.
He was mad that I used pink, since thats a girl color, so we switched to Blue.
GOOD TIMES!

GA Tech vs. UGA

This past Saturday we went to the GA Tech / UGA football game. My VERY FIRST College football game. We had an absolute BLAST! There is nothing like tailgating with fellow Yellow Jacket fans. (The UGA fans were fun too!)
To me, watching football live, is MUCH more entertaining than watching from my living room. It's SUPER stressful though!!

GA Tech, lost, but they put up a good fight!! We hope to go to many more Tech games in the future.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

This Thanksgiving Cooper started out riding his bike... of course. :) Cam even came over and joined in on the fun!
We also celebrated Bruski's very first birthday. Kali made the boys (the four-legged boys that is) cupcakes. Bentley and Bru LOVED them!
Finally it was time for dinner, and Cooper started with some "Finger Beans"
We had a bonfire that night too, Cooper really loves fires. He helped Cam and Uncle Myles throw sticks into it.

Unfortunately these are the only pics I got from Turkey Day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Technicalities

For nearly a year now Coop has been able to deduce answers and reasonable come backs in an argument. Beit about riding his bikes in the dark -we tell him he can't- and he answers "bikes work the same in the dark as they do in the day time" welp.. can't argue that point really. We've told him you cannot cry unless your bleeding, we've used this in an effort to eliminate his litte whinning fits or the occasional emotional bettle juice head spinning melt down. His left index finger is still riddled with the atopic dermatitis; which can on occasion crack and bleed. he has been able to use this to his advantage. again... he starts whining and we say no crying unless your bleeding... he holds up his finger and says "wook it is" (uuugh... )

(scene: Last night, bath time) on my trip to colorado i picked up two sealed sail boats. he was in the bath last night taking about the keel and sail and the different waves from his different boats he has. I was explaining keel theory and how to figure maximum hull speed on a 4" boat when he flipped it over. "wook, its slower upside down" he states, and continues to examine it. Using that as a great segway I showed and and began to explain to him that monohulled sail boats typically are most stable when keel up. he GASP... "thats very dangerous" and immediately grabed the little boat and put it on the side of the tub... "no daddy... it's most stable when on the side of the tub" again... win on technicallity...

Visit with Santa...

This weekend we headed to Arbor Place Mall for the purpose of meeting up with someone for a quick second. They were running late, so we walked around the mall. To our amazement there was NO line at Santa... so we jumped in line. Cooper was a little hesitant at first, but after a little coaxing, he was good to go. He held my face, put his lips RIGHT up against mine, and kept saying "THIS IS SOOOO EXCITING". He was prepared to tell Santa what he wanted, but when we walked up to Santa, he COMPLETELY closed up. lol. He wanted either Daddy or I to "stand closer". I put Cooper on the chair NEXT to Santa, then after trying to get a smile out of him for the camera, Santa picked him up, and placed him on his lap. Coopers eyes were as big as saucers. Poor kid, it got a good laugh out of me though, thats for sure. Here is the picture we ended up with...

Santa was VERY friendly, and so were his helpers. For some reason Cooper was worried that Santa was going to laugh at him. Not sure why he thought that, but he was glad when Santa didn't.

Cooper and I made a Christmas Chain last night, so Cooper can see how many days there are till Santa comes.

(Travis, that is one SWEET mullet you have in the pic on the wall)

Busy Weekend

This weekend Daddy bought Cooper a brand new bike. He was WAAAAY too big for his 12" bike, so we went shopping for a 16" bike. Cooper told us this new bike is "MUCH faster than the widdle one". It was almost like an early Christmas, Daddy set up the new bike in the living room for Coop to see first thing Sunday Morning.
After breakfast, he strapped on his helmet, and off he went!
Cooper also got a new bed too. We had bunk beds like this BC (Before Cooper), then sold it to make room for his crib. He has been sleeping in a Queen size bed, and we figured he needed a bunk bed!! So I bought one off Craigslist, and we set it up. Cooper LOVES sleeping "up in the sky".
Now we just need to find a Full size mattress for the bottom. I didn't realize how expensive mattresses are!! OUCH!!

Such a nice boy....

This is Cooper's newest saying...

Cooper: "MOMMY!! I forgot to tell you somefing!!!!!!"

Mommy: "What is it Cooper?"

Cooper: "I wuv you Mommy."

When he gets on these kicks, he'll go to EVERYONE and say it to you, as well as give you a HUGE hug. It's sooooooo cute.
He's such a nice little guy.

Trip to Minnesota

We visited family up in Northern Minnesota for a few days - Cooper is becoming a pro at flying.
After we landed we headed to see Great Grandma.
Then... onto White Castle. Gotta love the castle... at 10:30am. :)
I found Great Grandma's bowling ball in a bedroom closet, so we hit the bowling alley to test it out. Cooper LOVES bowling. And the kid is pretty damn good at it too. His high score was 108!
Cooper is so cute when he bowls... after he tosses the ball, he puts his hands on his hips. If he hits any pins, he yells "WOOOOOHOOOOOO". What a nut.

We had a great trip, and enjoyed spending time with all our Minnesota family!! Have no fear, we'll be back!!

Professional Pictures

We FINALLY got off our asses and got Coopers pictues taken. We hadn't done them since he turned 1. OOPS! He's definitely a cutie. Such a cute little GA Tech fan!

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Halloween started of awfully rainy, however that didn't stop us from having fun!! Cooper started off driving Lightning McQueen. (I'm actually surprised he didn't want to drive him Trick or Treating!!)
I'm sure its a surprise to no one, but Cooper went as James. I'm REALLY hoping he finds something else to be for Halloween next year besides a train character.
He did VERY well Trick-or-Treating, and was super polite. He'd say "TRICK OR TREAT", then after "THANK YOU, HAPPY HALLOWEEN". Too cute. Grandma got video of it, I'll have to steal it from her and get it posted. Such a nice boy. There is one house down in our culdesac that puts up MANY MANY decorations. Every year we take pics of Cooper with some of the stuff. This year was no different.
This next picture cracks me up. There were 2 "ghosts" on sticks, and I wanted Cooper to stand in the middle of them. Yeah, he wanted NO part of that, and this is the best he would do. I LOVE his facial expression. Apparently he's a bit afraid of Ghosts on sticks.

Cooper received a LOT of candy. However, after daddy went through and took out all the ones that had peanuts or had a peanut warning, he didn't end up with much. Good thing he doesn't eat candy!! Some homeowners gave stickers, he REALLY liked those!Add Video

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
