Grandma bought Coop a new watch, and now every 2 seconds, he's asking her what time it is. Here's a pic of him and his watch...

When Cooper is asked what time it is, his reply --- "10 Dollars!"

Balls to the wall ALL the time....

Not sure what it is we've been feeding Cooper, but it must be something- he is balls to the wall ALLLLL the time. We were at Grandma & Grandpa's last night, and Daddy took the following video of our crazy kiddo

What a knucklehead. The video is kinda long, but keep watchin'- by his 3rd run- you'll see what he was attempting to accomplish.

Watchit!

Cooper LOVES things that move with a "amote" (remote). Mimi and Pops bought Cooper this big Toyota truck while we were in FL, and yesterday was the perfect day to test it out.Disclaimer: If Cooper is mannin' the remote, keep small pets, kids, and your own feet outa the way.

South Florida Vacation

Thursday January 15th, we left home at 7pm, jumped on 75, and headed south. WAAY south. Cooper watched Racecars (Cars) on the "Big TV" (daddy's laptop), and finally passed out in the car at 11pm. It was a late night for the little booger. At midnight, Daddy and I decided it was time to stop, so we got a hotel room at the Best Western in Ocala, FL. Cooper was NOT a fan at first, saying, "my don't want to sleep in that bed", but evenutally feel asleep in his very own (and first) hotel bed. Here is a pic of him sitting on the end of the bed the next morning...

He was so cute, but this pic takes the cake: daddy and coop walking out of the hotel with their suitcases in tow
After a quick bite to eat at Cracker Barrel, we were off for the remaining 3 hour drive to Punta Gorda. Cooper thought it was cool to watch movies in the car, so he watched a few more. Our trip down there was only 7.5 hours total drive time- Not bad!! When we got to Punta Gorda, we ran into Wal-Mart to grab a life jacket (we KNEW there was SOMETHING we forgot at home!!). Cooper had Tiffanie "Coconut Fishing" with him for a good part of time we were there
The little man LOVED to make a big splash, he had a few that were so big he actually got wet. After awhile, Tiff told Coop that they had to wait till the ones he threw in went away before they could throw more in the water. Beleive it or not, cooper actually sat and watched - patiently waiting for the coconuts to float away.
After a while, he got bored, and moved onto something else. While we were there, Cooper caught his very first fish with his Spongebob pole. He was SO excited!
This is the picture I took of Cooper and his fish- Cooper fell off the cooler on the boat, landing IN the boat-
Great action shot! Poor guy! Thank god Tiffanie was standing next to me snapping pics as well, hers came out MUCH better

I wish I would have gotten a pic of Cooper holding bait. Daddy asked Cooper if he wanted to hold the bait shrimp- Coop of course, is up for anything at least once, so he holds out his little hand, Daddy drops the shrimp into it- Coop drops it, runs to the opposite end of the boat, JUMPS onto the bench, and says "My don't like that guy!!". The rest of us sitting up on the dock couldn't stop laughing! When asked what the shrimps name was, coops reply was "Scary". Guess that will be the last time he will be holding a shrimp.

I caught some AMAZING pics of the sunset. The brightest colors I've seen in a while

and Tiffanie took a family pic of us as wellHere is a pic of Cooper and his cousin, Red - they were playing dead. Pretty good huh?!
Gotta love Cobb County School System desks!! It was the perfect place for Coop to eat some lunch!!

(He was also giving himself kisses in the mirror~ sorry about Coop lip prints Tiff!)

There was also some entertainment when Pops went with the neighbor on his brand new sailboat- all i gotta say is, that was HILARIOUS! =) Cooper sat with me at the end of the canal- the perfect spot for picture taking. This kid is such a goofball. He takes after his daddy.

Tiffanie and Cooper--- saying BAAAACON!!

There are ginormous boats all around the canal, this is a pic of Cooper in front of the neighbors

We had a fantastic time in FL, the weather was awesome everyday with afternoon highs of around 72*. PERFECT weather! Our commute back took us 9 hours- damn traffic. Cooper went through movie after movie after movie. He started out on our little portable DVD player. But after only 10 minutes into one movie, from the backseat comes this cute little voice "My wanna watch the BIG TV!". Spoiled kid. He was completely quiet during the entire drive, except for the occasional giggle.

Monster Trucks!!!

Saturday night, January 10th, 2009, was Coopers very first trip to see Monster Trucks at the Georgia Dome. HE LOVED IT!!! First off, Daddy took him to Brandsmart Thrusday to see Grave Digger. It was cold and windy as hell that day, and Daddy said cooper was NOT impressed. (He took a pic, but I don't have that memory card with me, we'll post it later).

Anways, so saturday cooper gets up from his nap about 5:30pm, we get him all loaded into the car and ready to go. He was a little annoyed with the drive down there, as we got stuck in traffic, of course. There were people walking faster than we were driving. Cooper even said, and I quote, "I wanna walk with that black guy". Great. We went with a group of 30 people, and sat waaaaay up high. Cooper sat on the edge of his seat the entire time. Here is a pic kinda showing how far up we were sittin':
*I should also tell ya that Cooper wanted NOTHING to do with earplugs. He shook like a leaf the entire show, but did a pretty good job hiding it. We brought his blanket with just in case (thank god we did), and he had one hand touching his blanket, and one touching my knee, and he was good to go all night. See the bucket of Popcorn daddy is holding? Coop pretty much ate that entire tub all by himself. Dinner of champions.
He's such a big boy! On the way there that night, i told him I couldn't wait to see Monster Trucks jump high. He told me "monster trucks don't jump mommy!!" The above pic was taken when the first truck jumped. LOL He couldn't believe they DO actually jump!! This next pic is of our cute little man enjoying the show -
Here's a pic of his chubby little hand hanging onto mommy's knee and his blanket. Too cute. Cooper has a Grave Digger monster truck of his own that he brought to the show. He liked how it looks JUST like the real one. When grave digger jumped really high then fell over and landed on his roof, cooper took his little toy, jumped it onto his leg, flipped it over, then knocked it off his knee. LOL, smart kid!!! (this is cooper and I checkin out his grave digger toy)...
so in a nut shell, we all had a fantastic time at Monster Trucks. We cannot wait to take him to the show every year. I still can't beleive he was up for the entire show. We didn't make it back to the car till about 10:45 or so, and this is a pic of my handsome boy at 11:15pm:

Completely wore out.

and he slept in till almost 9am sunday morning.

The Helper Bee...

Well the time has come to adjust the valves on the bike and replace gaskets and such... Always ready to learn somthing new the Junior Mechanic assisted in removal of all the farings...
helperbee

once we got it all apart he took every screw driver and pick i have and tossed them in the velocity stacks... he ment well... it took a bit of wrestling to get the 14" valve cover out the 13.7" frame but we did it and didnt even teach Coop any new words!
noroom

upon reassembly we were cleaning up the mess and making sure we didnt have any spare parts... well as Cooper lay on the ground with a massive screw driver in hand I hear from under the bike an owners worst nightmare and Fathers Tear Jerkin' Proud phrase...

mini Cooper voice "Well theres yer problem"

Daddy

Yesterday, Cooper and I were on the way home, and Coop wanted to call daddy. (I've got this badass bluetooth thingy for my phone so my lazy ass doesn't have to hold the phone to my ear, Anyways, Cooper LOVES to call Daddy on it, even though he becomes a mute child when we call him.)

So Daddy and I are talking and we hang up.

Coop: Whats wong wif daddy?
Mommy: Whats wrong with Daddy? Nothing is wrong with daddy. Why do you ask?
Coop: I yuv (love) Daddy. He's a nice guy.

Coop-man is so cute. OH, and I forgot to mention that while this little conversation is going on - he had taken off his shoes and socks, and was wearing his socks on his hands like mittens.
What a nut.

Tonka 12/10/2007 - 12/31/2008

For those who don't know, we made the absolute hardest decision, and have put Tonka down on 12/31/2008.
When he went it on Dec 4th for surgery, he weighed 115 lbs, and when Travis took him in Wednesday, he was only 83lbs. He had lost over 30 lbs.
He was obviously in a lot more pain than we even realized.

We took a few pics before we said Good-Bye; at 83lbs he was still a big guy.
He was absolutely a great dog, and Cooper and Tonka were best buds.
We have told Cooper that Tonka went to live somewhere else with a bigger yard - lucky for us Cooper isn't really old enough to know whats going on.

We love you Tonka, and we miss you already!
