The "Wake"...

We hit the "Wake" (Lake) last night, went for a boat ride, and went fishin'. Uncle Myles and Gwamma came with us. Boy did we have fun!! The first thing Cooper had to do was wash the windows...
Then he had to make some goofy faces at the camera...
The faster we go, the more fun Cooper has
We found a quiet little cove and pulled out the fishin' poles.
Cooper is FANTASTIC at casting!!
Then Mommy had to piss off all the boys and catch a fish with her SpongeBob fishin' Pole. (look how bent the pole is!!! HEHEHEH)

Those boys will never learn... fish don't care about your expensive fishin' poles. :) They should also realize that Mommy is a fishin' pro.

Pronunciation...

Yesterday when I picked up Cooper from school, he was super excited. He excitedly ran over to his teacher and said:

"We're going to the WAKE to see MYLES!!!!"

She had this HORRIFIED look on her face. So, just as excitedly, I said; "That's right!! We're going to the LAKE to see Myles!"

Poor teacher thought we were taking a trip to a funeral!!

Parent/Teacher Conference

We had Coopers very first Parent/Teacher Conference this week at his school. His teacher was very impressed with his vocabulary. She was also impressed with how well he rides a two wheeled bike. (the kid is like LIGHTNING and has been since just before he turned 2). She showed me some of his art work, and and even gave me a picture of Cooper playing on the playground. She felt that Cooper was way ahead of his classmates, and has moved him (and a couple of his friends) to the Pre-3 room. Cooper wasn't very happy about leaving most of his friends, but seems to be adjusting well. Cooper absolutely loves Miss Jenny, and gives her lots of hugs throughout the day. Luckily he'll still see her, even though he is no longer in her class. In the near future, we will be adding another day to his daycare week, to build up to when he will start to go all 5 days in August. He's growing up WAY too fast!!!

Little Engineer...

Not only do we have a Mini Photographer on our hands, but also a little engineer. Cooper most definitely takes after his daddy with his stunts. He built this "stool" to use to reach the Tootsie Roll Jar...Surprisingly, it's actually pretty sturdy!!!

The lil photographer...

The other day, I attached my camera to the tripod, and let Cooper loose. He was a picture takin' FOOL!!! He even took some of himself, and the sky, and the ground. :)
Now THIS is a good lookin' tripod!!
was awfully cloudy too!
Here's uncle Myles... guess I need to teach Cooper how to zoom next... :)

Nice Georgia Weather...

The weather here has been SOOO nice, so we've been spending a lot of time outside. Here are some pics of Super Cooper i've captured...I promise he know show to fish.... not sure why he was holding the pole like that. What a nut.

Mother's Day ~ 2010

Boy did I have a fantastic Mother's Day!! We started off the day with breakfast at my favorite hole in the wall restaurant - Dougs Place. Then EVERYONE came over for a Cookout-- Grandpa, Grandma, Myles, Kali, Bru, Ashleigh, Jeffy, Brodey, Brock, Lyla and lil miss Lucy. Here are a few pics:Cooper also made me a Mothers Day gift at school. When asked "my mommy is special because..." - he replied with "she lives at my house"- which was made into a bookmark. :) He also made me a picture with a little poem and his cute little hand prints. I'm going to have to frame this- no doubt. I don't know what I'd do without that sweet, handsome little guy.

FANK YOU UNCLE BILL!!

Uncle Bill (Travis' boss) recently went on a vacation to Amsterdam and Paris, among a few other places. He brought back Cooper this...

"Fank you Uncle Biwl for the Cool Fewaawii Corvette shirt"

Panama City Beach....

Boy have we been spoiled!! The weekend after our Destin trip, we jumped back in the car, and headed to Panama City Beach!! It was also Thunder Beach Week... so there were a LOT of motorcycles! Talk about some entertainin' people watchin' tho!! :) The condo we stayed in was right on the water, on the 22nd Floor. Cooper and Daddy made this and Gwamma and I ran upstairs to take the pic...
In this pic.... if you look at the pinkish blanket above the first "O" - you'll see Travis --- on his blackberry of course. Then off to the top corner of the "R", playing in a hole, you'll see Cooper. :)
Grandpa does not like heights at ALL... good thing it doesn't bother Cooper one bit!!
My absolute FAVORITE restaurant in PCB is Pineapple Willy's... so of course we headed there for dinner and saw an AMAZING sunset...
We spent a LOT of time on the beach. Cooper LOVES playin' in the sand, and even loved the water too!
My two favorite Boys.... (Cooper told me that Bwentee would have liked the sand... I think he was right, Bentley would have LOVED it).
... and back to Pineapple Willy's... :)
Cooper (and Grandpa) parked their chairs IN the water. This is a before pic...
and this is the AFTER pic.... He was enjoying the view when a big wave rolled in and the cold water was at his neck. HEHEH

Thank you Daddy, Cooper, Gwamma, and Gwampa for making my 30th Birthday extra special!!!
