Rain, Rain Go Away

I wish this wet weather would go away. We've been trying to burn some christmas Trees, however the backyard is soggy. Yesterday, on the way to Gramma's, it was raining pretty hard. Cooper was mad cuz the rain was too loud and he couldn't hear his CD (its a CD book about Gorillas). This was our conversation:

Coop: Mommy, those cwouds up there have motors.
Mommy: They do??
Coop: Yep, thats how they make rain, and thats why its woud (loud).
Mommy: How do the motors get way up there?
Coop: [while shaking his head] Dey just jump up there.
Mommy: Are the clouds strong enough to hold motors?
Coop: Yes Mommy, if dey weren't, then dey wouldn't have motors.

The kid has one helluva imagination.

New Sink & Faucet...

I've come to the conclusion that I am officially old. Not quite 30 yet, but old none the less. I wanted a new kitchen sink and faucet SOOOOOO bad. Cooper and Daddy got me one for Christmas, and I was just as excited abour that sink as I was about the keg (thanks Santa!). Last weekend Daddy finally got the chance to install this sink, and of course, Cooper helped. I'm really not sure why Cooper had on Daddy's motorcycle "glubbs", but he was convinced he needed them.
I should also note that Cooper was NOT happy I was taking pictures of him and Daddy. He kept telling me "STOP taking pictures, we're trying to WORK here". Sorry Coop, deal with it, it was too cute to NOT take pics.
Cooper is such the cute little helper.
Here is the finished product. Not sure why it looks like the sink has a white edge, cuz it does not. I love it though!!! Washing cookie sheets is SO much easier, AND I don't get soaked!

Monster Jam 2010

Saturday night we took Cooper to see the Monster Trucks at the GA Dome. Cooper LOVES Monster Trucks, and this is his second year going. He REALLY liked when the monster trucks tipped over. He'd randomly lift his arms up in the air and scream "WOOOOOOOOOO". Crazy kid.
Cooper cannot wait to go next year!!

Uncle Myles' Jeep...

Forgot this pic... Uncle Myles has ALWAYS wanted a Power Wheels Jeep. For some reason, Santa never brought him one, till this year. :) Uncle Myles was SUPER excited about it, as was Cooper...

He drove it all around Grandma's yard.

Swingset

Yesterday, Santa sent one of his elves out to the house to install Coopers "Super Crazy Cool Swingset". It took the poor elf about 7 hours, in the freezin' cold. Cooper sat in his recliner, and watched the progress...
Here is the backyard "before"...
and here is the backyard "after"....
After dinner, we bundled up and went outside to test it out. (Mommy tried the slide, and just about ended up on her ass.)
He even tested out the trampoline. I think our backyard is now officially a playground.

Florida Bay-cation (Vacation)

Well Cooper FINALLY got to go to the beach!!!! We packed up the car, and headed to South Florida to see Tiffanie, Joe, Mimi and Pops for New Years weekend. Cooper did GREAT on the 9-10 hour drive. He watched many, MANY movies.
Cooper LOVES the beach. Once we got there, he didn't ever want to leave.
This little white Jeep drove ALL OVER the beach...
It's never too cold to get a suntan...
Cooper and Joe even went crab hunting. Here's Cooper with a Horseshoe Crab...
He also found a baby lobster....

We even took some family photos. Here is a pic of all of us....

and here is a pic of Gweat Gwamma, Daddy, Cooper and Mimi..

Christmas at Home

Cooper was VERY lucky this year, and Santa brought him a "TWAMPOLINE!!". Santa had it all set up for Cooper, so he got to see it out the living room window.
Unfortunately we didn't get to test out the trampoline on Christmas Day, as we had to get to Gwamma and Gwampas for breakfast. Before we headed out, we opened presents at home.
Santa brought Cooper a BIIIIIG fish, which Cooper now carries pretty much EVERYwhere.
I bought Cooper some new DVD's. He took one look at the packages, and said "I don't need to open those, they are CD's". Little booger.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I didn't get ANY pics of everyone opening gifts at Grandpa & Grandmas. I really don't have ANY pics. Grandpa, Myles, Kali and I did play a few games of beer ball. Then after we all ate, people were droppin like flies with a stomach virus. So I DEFINITELY didn't get any pics of that.

Overall, we all had a great time. Lots of beer and wine were consumed. We even had Mimosa's!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
