Pumpkin Patch... FINALLY

Well, we FINALLY made it to a Pumpkin Patch last night. Cooper really likes "punkins", and wanted to take them all home. This is the first one he picked up - but he said it wasn't good enough to take home.
He also liked this one, but it too was not good enough to take home.
He said this one was "COOOOOOOOOL", yet still not good enough to take home.
I'm really not sure why he has a washer on his finger. I noticed it especially when I was taking this picture. He told me it was his ring.
And finally, he came across the perfect, home-worthy pumpkin.
This pumpkin patch is actually pretty smart. They have little itty bitty tiny pumpkins up by where you pay. Cooper saw this little tiny one, and got it for Bentley. Cuz "Bwenty needs a punkin tooooo!"

Daddy & Son

Last night Daddy was on his hands and knees giving Cooper a ride. After awhile, I asked Cooper if I could go for a ride as well. Loudly, Cooper says:
"You CAN'T, you will SQWIIIISH Daddy!!"

Alright then. Nuff said. :)

A Day Out with Thomas

Sunday we headed to Cordele, GA for A Day Out with Thomas. Boy was that cool!! Cooper had the biggest smile on his face the entire time we were there. He posed by pics of this Train Friends.
Then it was time to meet Sir Topham Hatt. Cooper couldn't believe it. As we waited in line, he kept saying: I SEE SIR TOPHAM HATT!!!!! Of course, when it was our turn to take a picture, he was all shy. He DID hold his hand though!!
Just as we were finishing up pics with Sir Topham Hatt, we heard Thomas' whistle. Cooper was SO excited, he kept jumping up and down and pointing.
After we got our picture taken with Thomas, it was time for our train ride. Cooper is such a big boy, he even gave the conductor his ticket.
Cooper received a Junior Engineer Certificate on the train. (Just pretend his name is written on it... I didn't have a pen)
After the ride, Cooper wanted to tell Thomas "Thank you." So we headed back to the front of the train, for more pics.
What a great day we had with Thomas!! The fun filled day sure exhausted the little man though.

The Zoo

Saturday we hit Chehaw park in south Georgia. This park has a Zoo inside, and Cooper LOVED it. He was kinda interested in the animals, but definitely liked running around. The kid's got a pretty good "wingspan"
We came across a snake on the sidewalk, and Cooper had no fear.
Unfortunately for us, Cooper tells us snakes are his favorite. Great.
The Zoo even had a playground for the kids. And when I say playground, I mean they had one slide. hehe Cooper loved it though.
We hit the gift shop before the Alligator section, and Cooper had to have an orange snake.
Then onto the Alligators.... those things are HUGE!
He had a death grip on his snake, cuz we told him the alligators would eat it if he dropped it. :)
After the Zoo, we headed to the HUGE kids park.
He loooooved this swing... and when we started talking, he held his little finger us and said "SHHHHH I'M SWEEEEEPING"

Coops got mail!

Mimi and Pops sent a lil package, and it came in Saturdays mail. Cooper LOVES getting mail, and LOVES stickers, especially these Halloween ones!!

Thanks a BUNCH Mimi and Pops!! Yesterday he told me he was a ghost. Then he said "i'm just messin' with ya". :)

"Finger Beans"

Cooper is a HUUUUGE fan of black olives, just like Mommy. The other day we asked him what was on his fingers, and he replied "FINGER BEANS!!!". I do have to say, they really do look like finger beans!
What a nut!

2009 Memory Walk

This past Saturday, we walked in the 2009 Alzheimer's Memory Walk. We had a fantastic group of about 17 people. Lucky for us the rain held off for the most part, however there was a part where it misted for a bit. A group of High School Cheerleaders was walking behind us, and boy were they annoying. I thought for sure someone in our group was just going to knock em out. Here is a pic of Coop and his buddy "Wogan" as we're getting ready for the walkto start...
I didn't get ANY pictures during the walk, but had some great conversations with Alex, Steph, Rachelle, Putt-Putt and Rachelle. Afterwards, Cooper posed for some pics...
Then a nice man gave him some balloons...

We did get a group shot, and as soon as I get it sent to me, i'll be sure to post it.

We look forward to the 2010 Memory Walk!!

Our Little Mechanic

I got home from work the other day to find Daddy's bike in a few pieces, AND Cooper "fixing an oi-will leak". I must say, it was SUPER cute, so I got a bunch of pics!
In this picture you can see Coopers blue motorcycle on its side. I'm really not sure what he had to "fix" on that, but he did tell me it was hard work.
I wish I would have gotten video when he asked me to hold up his car so he could get the jacks out from under it. He kept saying, "don't drop dis heavy car on me." Once the jacks were safely out of the way, he told me I was strong. I'm soooo glad I was strong enough to hold up Lightning McQueen!!

The Fair... Part 2

Last thursday we headed back to the fair with Cam. Cooper had a grand ol' time, and had a permanent smile on his face the entire time. We started off the night with some deliciously not healthy Corn dogs. While we ate, we sat and watched the cloggers... Cooper was NOT impressed.

He wanted me to go up there and tell them they were being to loud. RIIIIIGHT.

After eating, Cooper was back on his kick of the "green thing", AKA the obstacle course. A disgruntled toothless little redneck was running the slide that night, and he was making Cooper walk on the bridges. DUMB. But like a good boy, he walked.

after a few runs on the obstacle course, we talked him into what I call, The Sack Slide. Mommy and Coop were up first, then Cam took Coop, then it was Daddy's turn. Here is a little video of our trip down the sack slide...
I think Cam was enjoying this ride more than Cooper was....
and last but not least, Daddy and Coop.... Cooper REALLY enjoyed this one...
Then back to the obstacle course...
He waited in line soooo patiently with the other kids. Although he was worming his way to the front of the line.
We ran out of ride tickets a few times. Coopers response to that - "Wets go buy some more!!".
Then, of course, he had to put his tickets in his pocket...

Here is video of Cooper on the obstacle course. He really does fly through it, however the douche in the Blue shirt in the video was making him wait in a few spots.

We cannot wait till the fair next year! HOPEFULLY Cooper will be tall enough to go on a LOT more rides!!
