While Mommy was gone....

While I was visiting the crazy Larson clan in Minnesota, Daddy and Cooper were spending some guy time together. Here are some pics Daddy sent me while I was gone, looks like they had a LOT of fun!! mmmmmm Waffle House!!
and he now has 14 trains and coaches. (when I left, he had probably 10 - Cooper has Daddy wrapped around his little finger!)
Cooper told Daddy that he needed to park lightning mcqueen in his garage "so nobody steals him"...
They did a lot of yard work too...
and some swimmin' in their underwear... (well at least Cooper was)
and more yardwork...
Gotta cool of your head when you get hot!...
or maybe the best way to cool off is to just stand in a bucket of water...
When that gets boring, why not antagonize Frank & Henry... the neighbors ducks. After all, they've chased Cooper around the yard before, payback is a $%tch.
Cooper mowed the yard right before a thunderstorm. The same thunderstorm that was the reason mommy got stuck on a plane forever, and landed 5 hours later than she should have!
I sure am glad to be back, and able to join in on the fun!

T-Ball Practice - Week 6

Here are a couple pics Daddy took at last nights T-Ball Practice...

T-Ball Game - #3

Saturday July 11th, Cooper had another Tball game. This time his team played Brock & Brodey's team... I wish I coulda been there to see it. Here are some pics Daddy took of all the action...
Not sure why he picks the pink bat everytime... his Cousin Brock does the same thing.
The Pic above is of Cooper and "Maffew". They made such fast friends.

Coopers coach will be out of town for next weekends game, so Daddy has been crowned "Coach Travis" for the day. I'll be sure to get some pics of him in action.

T-Ball Practice - Week 5

Week 5 of T-Ball Practice was a huge success! We started out catching and throwing...

(I REALLY wish T-Ball season was in the fall-- this GA Summer weather is REDICULOUS!) Our team had a few extra kids for this practice, as two of the teams supposedly didn't have practice, but they failed to tell all those parents. Lucky for me, Satan's Spawn was back... and making fun of everyone that was up to bat. Kendra, the only girl on our team, was up, and was getting nervous swinging the bat. Satan's Spawn and a few other kids from other teams were crowding the batter, and would not listen when they were told by coach (and some parents) to scoot back. Coach took matters into his own hands, "helped" Kendra bat, and hit the ball off the tee.... and right into the crotch of Satan's Spawn. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Anyways enough about Satan.

Cooper is getting better and better at batting. Coach has been extremely patient with him and helps him make sure he's standing correctly, and trying to keep his attention on the ball. Mini is getting better at fielding as well. Now that his rash on his finger is cleared up, he enjoys wearing his glove

Cooper has become pretty good friends with Maffew (Matthew- who is also the coaches son). These two did a whole lot of goofing around on the field, it was too cute. Cooper says Maffew is a nice guy.
These two crazy boys ran the bases about a million times after practice was over. If Matthew ever got behind Cooper, he would yell "Come on Maffew, huwry up!!".

Cooper has another game this Saturday at 9am. His team is playing the Braves (which also happens to be the team his cousins are on!) It will be very exciting, but Mommy will be out of town and will be missing all the action. Daddy, however, has promised to take many pictures!

Dinner on the Lake

On July 2nd, we invited Cam, and all piled into the car (and yes we DID remember Coopers life jacket this time) and headed to the lake, deciding that we were going to eat at Lakeside Grill. It was a PREFECT evening for a boat ride. Coop and Cam are like 2 peas in a pod, Cooper laughs a LOT when Cam is around.
I'm pretty sure Cooper and Cam are best buds...
boat ride = roller coaster??
Cam created a HILARIOUS new game where Cam would put his hand in the water, and high-five our little munchkin. They played this game for a while...
We were also lucky enough to see an amazing sunset over Allatoona. I got a little carried away taking photos of it... I couldn't help it. We had a great time (as always) on the lake, and look forward to many, many more boat rides!

The Mother of all Towers

Coopers tower building ability has grown to GINORMOUS proportions!! He let me take a few pics of his finished product, but was too quick in knocking it over.... In 2 seconds flat, he had already knocked the tower over, and ran towards Daddy to tackle him. I think its time to invest in more blocks (maybe its lego time!) and a quicker camera!
My favorite part of his towers, is that every single one of them has to have that eyeball at the top.

There is nothing like a good daddy tackle after the collapse of a tower...

Helping Gwamma

Cooper was helping Gramma with the quilt she is making. Gramma dropped her needle and this is their conversation...

Gramma: Oopsie

Cooper: Oopsie Daisy?

Gramma: Yup, Oopsie Daisy!

Cooper: We can't say Oh Shit can we Gwamma?

Gramma: No, Cooper, we cannot say that.

Cooper: Only Daddy can?

Gramma: Daddy shouldn't say that either

Cooper: I'll tell him that's naughty.

I'm glad Daddy is the naughty one and not me! ;)
